10% seems excessive, but there's a lot of it about. It goes some way to explaining why we see fewer birds and insects.

Am I the only one who is wondering what I pay my TV licence for? Because for the last few weeks there has been very little apart from sport on the BBC. In July, as usual, we had Wimbledon on both BBC1 and 2 at the same time. Then we got the start of the Woman's Euros and world athletics. Then Woman's cricket and at the end of this week we have the Commonwealth Games. It's lucky there are other channels around or I'd have nothing to watch, I suggest the BBC set up a sports channel and let the rest of us have a better choice.
As read in my paper today, I agree entirely.

A 2-year old knows they are trans.
Utter nonsense from Stonewall who are desperately trying to find a reason to exist now that they have won all the campaigns for gay rights and marriage etc. What they have tweeted is actually dangerous because the Woke mob and Trans activists will believe it.

The 1st Semi-final between the highest ranked team in Europe and the lowest ranked team in the tournament, (except for Northern Ireland). But rankings don't mean a thing in knockout football. It's who wins on the night that counts. Get your predictions in by 7.30pm for the 8pm kick-off.
Good Luck.

The Great British Cover-Up: What Grant Shapps is hiding about the future of the railways
Still image from Grant Shapps' 'Great British Railways Headquarters Competition' video. The colours in the image are dark, suggesting he is having a suspicious phone call on a railway platform.
While everyoneโs talking about the Tory leadership contest and RMT industrial action, weโre about to lose our last chance to save Britainโs railway from its most dangerous privatisation project yet.
A government consultation on the new public body Great British Railwaysโ including major changes to legislation โ is about to be rushed through without any public awareness. Itโs a key part of the governmentโs secret plan to cut billions in public spending, including a massive destaffing project allegedly involving the closure of every ticket office in England.
Today, weโve demanded that Grant Shapps extends the 4th August deadline and starts publicly promoting the consultation โ in a joint letter with campaign group Bring Back British Rail. Currently, the consultation breaches several areas of the governmentโs code of practice; so if he refuses, the Williams-Shapps Plan will lose all credibility with the public.
However, these are only the first of the weaknesses in the consultation. The private rail industry has been in backroom talks with the government for months; making vital decisions on all the most important areas affecting passengers. Most of these areas โ such as timetabling, fares, and accessibility โ have been exempted from the consultation (2.14) and are being negotiated as part of a market engagement process with train companies. They are now set to be decided without any public input whatsoever.

Cyber Scammer Compounds on 101 East
Caught the 2nd half of this episode of 101 East on the Al Jazeera channel last night. They revealed that a high number of scam phonecalls come from scammers working from high rise office blocks in Cambodia. They are called Cyber Scam Compounds. The building themselves are owned by top Cambodian businessmen, some with government connections. They rent them to Chinese businessmen and then turn a blind eye to what is going on. They then recruit people from both countries with fake job adverts, but when they arrive in Cambodia they realise it was all a lie, and are forced to work for the scammers.
The person with the accent phoning pretending to be from the bank is being forced to do it. They are held prisoner in the blocks.
Cambodia is the most corrupt country in Asia.
The programme will probably be repeated, and it should be on Al Jazeera catch up soon.
