This is the best and most meaningful song I've heard for a long time and I think it’s the best track that Woman to Woman have released so far.

What are your views on not flushing your loo in this water shortage.
I personally am trying hard not to waste water but not flushing is too far for me, I really don't want to lift my lid and see a used toilet! -

My laptop is a year old next month, so the manufacturers warranty runs out. Currys have sent me a letter offering their Care & Repair service.
Cost is £85 for one yearly payment, of 10 instalments at £8 a month.
Unusually the monthly instalments work out cheaper.
Does anyone have experience of Currys Care & Repair? I probably won't sign up for it as usually when a laptop become unusable it is time to upgrade to a new one anyway. From previous experience, laptops and desktop PCs last about 5 years. -

My neighbour had his 5-year old grandson with him last week, went out to the ice cream van for two cones with chocolate twirl - cost £7.00. His daughter did the same in different street nearby, gave her son a £10 note for three cones - who then came back for another 50 pence as £10 wasn't enough. Which works out at £3.50 per ice cream. Am I the only one who thinks that is extortionate or is this now the norm.

I had a fair bit of double glazing renewed and new porch when I moved here by a firm I was very happy with, helped me out when a stable door installed by the builder (provided by them but installed by him) couldn't be locked for a year until they came and refitted at no extra cost as the builder wasn't interested. At the same time, they measured up (twice) and quoted to replace an upstairs window which I can't open/close and make another window plain glass instead of the leaded-light panes already there which I hate. This was a year ago, I received and accepted the quote and I am still waiting. Part of the problem was that my attached neighbour was awaiting the replacement of a porch door letting in rain when the wind was in the wrong direction (insurance claim) so I knew mine wouldn't be done until then and I wasn't particularly bothered. Anyway, porch was repaired yesterday and still nothing about my job though when I queried a couple of weeks ago to ask if I should go elsewhere was assured they still wanted to do it but were still very busy (which I know is true as doing a lot of installations around the area). Decided to get a quote elsewhere which has turned out to be nearly £700 more for same job. Others have said glass has gone up by 40% over the period. I do like the firm and the men but, basically, where do I stand!

This question is similar to the cream or jam first on a scone, except its a jacket potato.
My sister cooked jacket potato for dinner. On the table she put the butter, grated cheese and chilli con carne. Obviously the butter goes on first, but what would you put on next? -
Today I have received an email purporting to have come from HMRC telling me that I am due a refund of tax of £5,700+ and providing a link to my CREDIT CARD which would allow the refund to be made. Looks convincing but why the credit card ?, surely the bank account would be more appropriate.
IT'S A SCAM, the day that I overpay £5,700 in tax hasn't dawned yet and the end of the world will happen before I do. -

Solar powered car (Edited)
A company in Germany is developing an electric hatchback car covered in solar panels. It will be manufactured in Finland. They claim that this will provide enough electricity to drive about 70 miles per week with a total range of about 190 miles and a price starting at just over £20,000.
They don't say which country this is calculated for - Finland, Germany, the UK or more sunny countries.
