Monday Morning And A Stable Genius At Work
European stock markets plunge in early trading, following stock market slumps across Asia
Shortly after opening, the Dax index in Germany was down almost 10%, while the FTSE 100 in London was down almost 6%
The Shanghai Composite was down more than 8% at one point, and Hong Kong's Hang Seng down almost 13%
Monday's losses follow global slumps last week - in my 20 years covering the Asian stock market, this is one of the biggest continuous sell-offs I've seen, writes our Asia business correspondent Mariko Oi

The current aircraft BAE T1A Hawk used by the Red Arrows is to be retired in 2030 and is proposed to be replaced by the Russian designed £19million Aermacchi M-346.
The Red Arrows are our BRITISH aerobatics team, to fly Russian aircraft is a national insult.
The team fly 9 planes, which is £171,000,000 of taxpayers money into the Russian piggy-bank. Trumpski will be overjoyed.

Primary school head cancels Easter in name of inclusivity.
A primary school has cancelled their Easter church service to avoid offending students of other faiths . All for diversity, equity and inclusion.
These woke school teachers get it all wrong in my opinion. If they want to encourage DEI amongst the students, the first thing to do is send an email or letter to all the parents stating, "our school will be celebrating the main holy days for all faiths represented by its students"

When Homeland Security Investigations agents showed up at Abby’s Bakery in February and arrested the owners and eight employees, residents of Los Fresnos were shocked.
“I was surprised because I know that they’re not taking advantage of the people,” Esteban Rodriguez, 43, said after pulling into the bakery’s parking lot to discover it was closed. “It was more like helping out people. They didn’t have nowhere to go, instead of them being on the streets.”
The reaction in the town of 8,500 residents may show the limits of support for President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown in a majority Hispanic region dotted with fields of cotton, sugarcane and red grapefruit where Republicans made gains in last year’s elections.
Now, Baez and Avila-Guel, a Mexican couple who are legal U.S. permanent residents, could lose everything after being accused of concealing and harboring immigrants who were in the U.S. illegally.
Hundreds of school bus drivers, painters, retirees and parishioners from the nearby Catholic church come into Abby’s Bakery each day.
Six of Abby’s eight employees were in the U.S. on visitor visas but none had work permits when Homeland Security Investigations agents came to the business Feb. 12. The owners acknowledged they knew that, according to a federal complaint.
Baez, 55, and Avila-Guel, 46, have pleaded not guilty. They referred questions to their attorneys, who noted the workers were not held against their will and there was no attempt to hide their presence, as a smuggler would.
As green card holders, the couple could be deported if they are convicted.
They have five children who are U.S. citizens.
The bakery closed for several days after their arrest.
Monsignor Pedro Briseño of St. Cecilia Church often visited before early morning Mass for the campechana, a flaky, crunchy pastry dough layered with caramelized sugar.
His routine was interrupted when plainclothes immigration agents arrived in unmarked vehicles.
“A woman came here crying.
She said, ‘Father, Father, they’re taking my brother,’” Briseño said.
The priest walked over and saw agents use zip ties to bind employees’ hands. -

For new members at his Mar-a-Lago property, Donald Trump has recently established a cost of $1 million.
From the existing $700,000, the proposed price represents a considerable rise, as per the reports of Yahoo news.
Trump regularly mixed with visitors to Mar-a-Lago throughout his first administration, taking suggestions on policy from them.
Several Mar-a-Lago members were appointed to significant roles.
These include Lana Marks, who became the US ambassador to South Africa, Adrian Zuckerman, who served in Romania, and David Cornstein, who was sent to Hungary.
In 2019, USA Today identified eight club members who had roles in Trump’s administration.
The membership fee at the start of Trump’s first presidency was around $200,000.
People hoping to win political favors would view the fee increase as a wise investment.

President Donald Trump left observers baffled this week when he suggested in a late-night Truth Social rant that his tariffs on Canadian goods would include taxes on illegal drugs.
In the Truth Social post, Trump said that one of his goals with the tariffs was to "penalize Canada for the sale, into our Country, of large amounts of Fentanyl, but Tariffing the value of this horrible and deadly drug in order to make it more costly to distribute and buy."
Fentanyl is an illegal drug, the government collects no taxes from its purchase or sale.

Musk bought everything he had,he invented...NOTHING!
He didn`t invent Tesla ,he bought it.
He didn`t invent SpaceX, he bought it.
He didn`t invent Starlink he bought it.
Obvs he didn`t invent X, he bought Twitter.
Looks like he bought Trump too.
I dunno why but I always thought he invented at least some of this?
And he was born into a wealthy family so he didn`t even have to be clever to do that. -
