      Family Learning Festival

      Wandsworth residents can book now for the Family Learning Festival which starts later this month.



      The festival is a national celebration to mark and inspire a love of learning in family life and is co-ordinated by the Campaign for Learning.



      In Wandsworth, the council’s Lifelong Learning team is offering a series of Family Learning workshops – some for parents and children and others just for adults only. The workshops start during October half-term and continue into November and include courses offered in partnership with Wandsworth City Learning Centre.

      'National Clean Air Day is about raising awareness of pollution issues, supporting people to reduce the amount of pollution they create, giving tips on how to avoid pollution and working together to improve air quality. The theme of this year’s Clean Air Day is ‘protect our children’s health’. The council’s air quality officers will be holding anti-pollution workshops in some borough schools where children can enter a poster competition on the theme of London’s Lungs.'

      On Monday 31/05/21 ( bank holiday ) Jas went out into her garden at 9.30 pm and has not been seen since, she has previously gone off for a few days in hot weather so I was not too concerned, however her brother has now started to fret and is constantly looking for her, she has had a problem with a cat a few doors down so may be hiding somewhere,she is much loved and missed, if anyone sees her please let me know Thank you

      The line gives people directly affected by hate crime, and witnesses to hate crime, a safe and independent place to talk about their experiences and to explore their options for how to take things further. Stop Hate is working with Wandsworth Council to introduce the helpline. The council works with partners to drive out hate crime, encourage people to report it and offer support to people affected by it.

      Hello everyone. I need to collect 10+ bags of topsoil from East Hill SW11 to near Wimbledon Roundabout

      Does anyone come down that way and help me. I don't have a car and we are hoping to work on the garden planting some vegetables. At the moment the small patch is full of rubble and weeds. Is there anyone who could help? I could pay for your petrol. We are an elderly couple and have no neighbours with cars.
