What would you feel if the tables were turned?
Perhaps American politician volunteers come here but not sure itโs a good idea.
The Trump campaign alleged that in recent weeks, Labour recruited and sent party members to campaign for his opponent, Kamala Harris, in critical battleground states in a bid to influence the 5 November .
โThis past week marked the 243 anniversary of the surrender of British forces at the Battle of Yorktown, a military victory that ensured that the United States would be politically independent of Great Britianโ โ an incorrect rendering of โBritainโ.
In response, UK prime minister Keir Starmer said that party officials volunteering for Harris ahead of the US presidential election on 5 November. -

Up until yesterday Chris Kaba was "an innocent unarmed black man fatally shot by a trigger happy Met police officer". There was even a rent a mob outside the Old Bailey calling for the police officer to get a murder conviction.
After he was found not guilty, there was the traditional scene of three black women looking stern, with one of them reading the same old statement about how the justice system has yet again failed the black community.
Now today everything has changed as the judge has allowed Kaba's criminal life to be published. Only the day before he was shot, he was shooting a man in a nightclub. He was also one of the leading members of a London drug gang.

Domestic abuse - early release of prisoners
I just watched an interview with the Justice Secretary, Shabana Mahmood about the prisoners who are to be released early. From what she said, some domestic abusers are being released early because there is no actual offence of domestic abuse.
One poor woman was interviewed beforehand and her husband has 2 restraining orders against him but she has received a letter saying he will be released early.
It's all down to the original charges as to whether someone is released or not, no matter if he's high risk of offending again. -

If you suspect you are being scammed by someone pretending to be your bank
159 is a phone number that connects callers to their bank to report suspected fraud:
When to call
If you think you've been contacted by a fraudster or are a victim of a scam, you can call 159. This includes if someone claims to be from your bank, an authority figure, or asks you to transfer money or make a payment.
How it works
159 is a secure number that connects you directly to your bank. It's available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Who manages it
159 is managed by Stop Scams UK, which includes many banks across the UK.
Why it's important
Fraudsters often pretend to be banks or other organizations to steal money from individuals and businesses. The sooner you report fraud, the sooner your bank can take action.
159 is similar to 101 for the police or 111 for the NHS
When you ring you will be asked which bank, after that you will be connected to your own bank. -

Walking back from Hyde Park to Victoria via Knightsbridge on Sunday we saw a demonstration outside one of the embassies.
They were a non-binary trans group called Queers For Palestine. They were campaigning for the rights of LGBTQ people in Gaza.
Do they even know what the reaction would be if they took their protest to the streets of Gaza.
People who identify as Queer are not even Gay in the true sense. They are straight people that think it's good for their image to align themselves with the Gay community but would never indulge in the physical side of a gay relationship. -

This evening, a shocking BBC Panorama investigation will lay bare the stories of Revolut bank customers who say scammers took tens of thousands of pounds from their accounts and that Britainโs newest bank failed to protect them.*
This comes just weeks after the payments regulator slashed reimbursement limits for scam victims by ยฃ330,000, in response to intense lobbying from payment firms and banks.
None of us fall victim to scams because weโre intentionally careless, but because weโre ruthlessly manipulated by the increasingly sophisticated tactics of organised criminals. The explosive findings of tonightโs investigation hammer home a grim reality: without sufficient financial incentives for banks and payment firms to improve fraud security, we may all be at risk.
