Last weekend I was visiting my sister in Cardiff. We decided to go and watch a film called The Meg 2: The Trench. The choices were the Everyman cinema or the Odeon. The ticket prices were £17 for the Everyman but only £5 for the Odeon. So we went to the Odeon.
I was quite surprised by the Odeons low ticket price, so have just checked local prices. Orpington Odeon is £12.50, so more than double for the same film at same time of day. But for the Everyman in Crystal Palace it is only £13.50 which is cheaper.

I received a letter today from Essex & Suffolk Water, informing me that they will be fitting a smart water meter at my house within the next two weeks.
