We all know the fire at the substation caused the total power cut at the airport and 5,000 homes, but why didn't Heathrow's backup power work?
The answer is they have recently scrapped perfectly good diesel generators, which would've kept the airport running. The have been replaced by bio mass generators to comply with Net zero. They didn't work.

This is the supersonic commercial aircraft 'Concorde', flying at a speed of Mach 2, that is, twice the speed of sound or approximately 1,350 miles per hour.
A small fighter jet approached it in flight and accompanied it for four minutes at the same speed, and then the fighter pilot took the photograph, which is to date the only image of the 'Concorde' flying at such speed.
In the background the sun is shining, and at that height the sky already takes on a darker tone even in broad daylight, due to the decrease in air density.
The curvature of the Earth can even be seen at that height.

For the last few weeks charity chuggers have been allowed to operate and hassle people just inside the entrance of my local Sainsburys.
Last week it was Great Ormond Street that had a stand about 3 metres from the kiosk. This week it is Breast Cancer Now who are standing just where people come out of self serve to make their way out of the shop.
I think charity chuggers should only operate in the street or shopping mall.

This is Malta's Eurovision song that the BBC have said has an offensive sounding word, meaning they can't broadcast the song if it's not changed.
The word is the maltese word for sing.
When I first heard about this I thought the whole song would be in the Maltese language with the offensive sounding word somewhere in the lyrics. And the BBC should get over themselves. But the song is entirely in English with just that one word in Maltese, so it really stands out, particularly the way she sings it.
I think the BBC are right to ask for it to be changed.
