Everyone should be able to celebrate their faith
However in Bondi beach this didn’t happen
Fifteen people were killed when two gunmen targeted Jewish people attending a Hanukkah event - the victims include a 10-year-old girl, a British-born rabbi, a retired police officer, a Holocaust survivor and another rabbi.
The gunman, Kajid Akram, stumbled away, and the man, who has been identified as Ahmed al Ahmed, points the firearm at him, before laying the weapon down against a tree and putting his hands up to signal to officers that he is not the suspect.
Ahmed, who was shot twice during the attack, has been hailed as a hero and credited by New South Wales Premier Chris Minns for saving "countless lives" with his brave actions.
The bravery of one man saved many lives and showed the cowardice of the gunman when the gun was taken from him and pointed at him.
