Richmond and Kingston make the top five stressful boroughs
"London is pretty stressful, right? And now we know exactly how stressful, according to a new study by private healthcare provider Babylon Health. Using the TensiStrength research tool, Babylon analysed 5 million tweets sent from across the UK for signs of stress, then calculated the percentage of stressed tweets coming out of each local authority – including each London borough.
Perhaps surprisingly, inner-city Tower Hamlets is the least-stressed part of London. At the other end of the scale, its East End neighbour Barking & Dagenham – one of London’s lowest-earning boroughs – is burnout central. Money isn’t everything, though: high-earning Richmond and Kingston both make the top five." - Timeout

Numbers are limited, but if you might be interested in being involved in any capacity (performer/technician/chaperone), we would love to hear from you.

On Monday 21 January 2019, The Samaritans are once again turning what’s been described as the ‘the most difficult day of the year’ on its head by renaming it ‘Brew Monday’ and celebrating that great tradition of getting together to talk over a cup of tea.
Across the UK and Ireland, they are encouraging people to take time out for a cuppa and a chat with someone who might be going through a difficult time. They're also asking people to hold a Brew Monday fundraising event.
Over the last 64 years, Samaritans volunteers have helped save countless lives, but as demand for their services grows, they need your support now more than ever.
Please support Kingston Samaritans on Monday 21 January or any day throughout January! If you’d be willing to hold an event and raise funds for their branch, they’d love to hear from you. Please contact fundraising@kingstonsamaritans.org, and they’ll get a FREE fundraising pack sent out to you.
Have a brew. Raise money. Save lives. #BrewMonday

Pilates Classes - Monday evenings - North Kingston (Edited)
Strengthen, tone and condition your entire body and have fun at the same time!!
I have a couple of spaces left in my Monday evening pilates classes at Alexandra School, Alexandra Road, Kingston. There are two classes, one from 7.30-8.30pm (two spaces left) and one from 8.30-9.30pm (three spaces left).
All levels are welcome, from beginner to more advanced. Pilates is a gentle form of exercise and the exercises can be layered up to suit the individual. Great for everyone, including people suffering from back pain, or for general rehabilitation, sports performance, or simply to exercise for fun.

Yesterday when we were just bedding down and some inconsiderate people still letting off explosions. We had a quivering dog in the wardrobe. When will it end? :(
Would like to highly recommend a very good decorator Michael, he does all aspects of decorating, refurbishments, wallpaper, refurbish window frames, special effects and outside painting too, also handyman jobs. Years of experience.
Happy new year

Hi all, Happy New Year everyone! I am relatively new to the area and keen to make new friends/business associates etc. I enjoy socialising and would like to start a curry/supper club, perhaps once a month, with like minded people who enjoy a glass or two of wine and a nice curry restaurant, or Italian, Thai etc...plan is to try new venues each month. I have previously done this before in another area, it’s good fun and a great way of meeting new people. All ages and genders, most welcome.
Please send message or call/text. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Could you look after an elderly person's cat/dog?
The Cinnamon Trust are looking for short term fosterers across the UK who would be prepared to look after a pet when their owner is in hospital. If you would like to become a fosterer, please register as a volunteer! It's a great opportunity to look after a furry friend if you can't have one of your own because of work or travel commitments, or are thinking of getting one but not sure yet. You can find out more and register here: http://www.cinnamon.org.uk/volunteers/
I am looking to decorate rooms in my house as well as the front door....can anybody recommend a reliable and good painter? Kingston area.....
