So what we're asking is, is there any point speaking to them again as each time we approach them their behaviour gets worse. We are concerned about them looking into our property as that is criminal behaviour? New neighbours to the side moved in just before the lockdown who have 2 small children and since they play in the garden early morning our neighbours have started sitting at the top of their stairs in nothing but a nightgown staring at them and most likely all other neighbours, do we say something? It's not pleasant to be stared at in the privacy of your own home. I cant open my windows curtains or blinds as I'm so uncomfortable.
-
During this time we have had to stay home they have increased their noise disturbance stamping on the floor, slamming their doors and worse causing damage to both our cars. We've been here for many years and not had damage to our vehicles. Since we approached them we have had both vehicles damaged around 4/5 times. We've caught them this morning leaning on our car and seen us and run off?
-
They are deliberately making noise above us day and night, we are on the ground floor. We have spoken to them and they have only got worse. I am concerned about their behaviour as they also look through our windows both at the back and front and watch us when we leave the property. Prior to the pandemic they did the same to family or friends visiting it is disturbing as I've caught them watching me in my car and they don't hide it

This is a great place for us to communicate and my first time posting. I was hoping it would be more positive. We are all trying to get by during this pandemic and you would think people especially neighbours would be supportive to each other. I love the area and my partner grew up here in Leyton. We have new neighbours just over a year and their behaviour is so disturbing.

There’s a homeless person named Craig that usually sits down at Leytonstone Station Church Lane exit. He usually sleeps at the Tescos car park.
He doesn’t drink and has been off heroin for the past 6.5 years.
Last night, his sleeping bag got stolen.
He said another homeless person might have picked it up when he went to the toilet. If you have a spare sleeping bag or blankets, please donate them to him.
If you’re feeling extra generous, please buy him a Cornish pasty from Olympic (right across the street). He seems to be quite fond of them

UPDATE: Localised Settings (Edited)
Hi neighbours,
thank you all for joining and being a part of the Leyton community.
We've grown from 80 to 400+ in a matter of weeks.
As we are now proceeding to grow further North in Leyton, this area might not be relevant to any neighbourly help at road distance from one another (like lending a hand, bikehanger installations, borrowing/lending equipment).
We ask you to navigate just below the create a post box, where you will identify two circles next to one another. These are the news feed settings, where the left circle represents community news; by being on these settings, you will be able to see comments from neighbours in further areas. The right circle represents news; posts and comments from neighbours in the Leyton area who are situated a walking distance from you.
An image is attached to visually show you where these features are.
To avoid any spam, we suggest you set the news feed on your preferred settings.
Please comment below if you have any questions. -
Hi all!
If you are new to this website and are reading this, I assume you got a letter from me today.
As you know for a while now, I have been walking around Leyton handing out flyers :D
I've wanted to show you a map of the streets where I've been to so you have a perspective of how well connected we are to each other! :D
Happy Sunday! -
Both 92/94 Pearcroft Road and 39/37 Pearcroft Road have been identified for a proposed Bikehangar.
You have just about more than a week to file back feedback.
It would be appreciated if any individuals with no necessity of car parking (students/shareflats) would volunteer put their residential front space up for proposal.
Final date to file feedback: 15th November
Online - www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/pearcroftroad9240

Pearcroft Road has been identified for a proposed Bikehangar in response to 6 requests received from residents.
One Bikehangar can hold up to 6 bikes, one per household and only takes half the space of a car park.
Residents can hire space for one bike in a Bikehangar for £25 per year per bike, and a refundable key deposit of £25.
The Bikehangar is proposed to be installed from the boarder of 39/37 in front of 37.
