Hi! I would be very interested to know what these 'stacks' are? I have seen a lot of them around the area but for the life of me cannot fathom what they are for.
Does anyone has any suggestions?? Many thanks!

-a badge of honour for frontline workers-
I’ve been thinking about this dreadful virus and the lives it has affected- which is us all.
I am thrilled Boris Johnson survived his ordeal and I applaud him thanking our amazing NHS for the sacrifices they’re making.
Of course it’s not just NHS workers we need to thank. It’s everyone who has put themselves on the frontline to help others and keep the wheels turning in the U.K. and worldwide.
In lieu of this. I personally think it would be wonderful to be able to honour every one of these frontline workers with a badge denoting their service at this traumatic time in history.
I am aware there have been other global events which have changed the course of history but most of them happened a long time ago beyond the understanding of most people living today.
Let us, in this time of fraught concern and fear, honour those workers and let them know how much we value them and their service.
Let’s reward them with a badge of honour they can wear with pride; spreading thanks and brightening their lives for saving ours.

Anti social behaviour is dumping your rubber gloves
I am appalled by the the behavior of some people at supermarkets and other places. Our streets and supermarket car parks becoming a dumping ground for used face masks and rubber gloves. Who the F**K do they think is going to pick them up ? Ignorant and stupid people that do that including dumping their dog shit sachets on tree trunks and pavements deserve a massive fine and shaming ...

Go Ape Alexandra Palace opinions (Edited)
Hi! I am looking for an opinions about Go Ape Adventure in Alexandra Palace. I've already booked it for my famly (2 children age 6 and 9 y o) but according to weather forecasts it will be raining on my booking day. Is it fun to do this under the rain or I should rather try to rebook it? Any opinions?

As his owner passed away a few days ago. He lives in the garden for now as there is no cat flap. He urgently needs a fosterer or a kind suitable forever home with a private garden with cat flap access. Robbie is very gentle and friendly. Can anyone help Robbie please?
-
I was asked to check if a pussycat was microchipped as a young lady was assuming the cat was a stray that she had been feeding for at least one month. The friendly cat is indeed microchipped. Having managed to contact the registered owner he denies it is his cat. He denies he has a cat. The poor cat hangs about a few minutes away from her registered address on occasions being chased by foxes. She is 14/15 years old and very friendly. I must help her but I am full. Can anyone foster this friendly abandoned old pussycat please? This is urgent
Thank you

Five star forever homes needed for various rescued cats
Five stars meaning the cats deserve the very best life possible and kind people to look after them.
Most were let down by private tenants who moved on.
Please foster if you are not sure if you can keep a cat for the rest of his or her life or if you cannot afford to keep one.

Five new pets canvas cabins stolen from my car
Two nights ago as some idiots smashed my car window and damaged the door frame and window pillar to acquire those as well as fund raising car boot sale items. The canvas cabins are very dark grey with green or other colour trim. They were flat packed in clear plastic. They might be on eBay or at car boot sales or dumped. They also took about 25 black cool bags foil lined also flat packed in clear plastic. Those were for sale at car boot sales. A nice quite small hand painted tall cabinet went. So did a lot more. The insurance excess is £300. And the goods missing are also a loss. The car was parked by the main road and could be seen from many houses or cars going by. The items that did not interest them were thrown over two pavements and the road. Five large bags of small fluffy toys for the cats and a lot more.
Rather upsetting.
Obviously the police did not bother with fingerprints.
What would happen to the thieves if they got caught? Not a lot so they do what they feel like doing.
Once again I look forward being dead as this is such a sad world with too many horrible people!!! -
Booboos went missing from Hackney 4/5 months ago. She was reported to me as a stray hanging around in gardens in Enfield. Just as well she is microchipped so her owner could be traced. Booboos is fine and her owner is buying her all new stuff as she did not expect to get her back after such a long time. Upon my recommendation she is having a cat flap fitted.

Missing old black cat from N20 0SJ
Smudge has been missing for about 10 days. Became unwell and went missing. Possibly went outside to hide and die but her body was never found by neighbours or fosterer. Mr Fox might have found her though.
She was such a sweet little old pussycat.
She had two happy years with Amelia who kindly fostered her. -
Most likely with the compliments of the local fox as the poor cat’s remains were found in the garden.
He had been rescued from Cyprus by my friend who had found him there with one eye hanging out aged around 4 weeks. She got him to a vet and had his eye removed. Once we’ll enough and his passport organised he was flown over to UK. He got so loved and spoiled. Sadly aged about 10 months he went missing and was found in the garden next door. Or rather what was left of him. His owner is devastated and her heart seriously broken. I keep on telling people to have a cat flap so the cat can run in to safety which often saves them. There was no cat flap... -
There was a black and white dead cat with facial injury in N11.
I left it this afternoon with Medivet Hendon who will keep it 7 days prior to cremation.
Pictures have been taken. -

Just been told by Suzy P that sadly your pussycat passed away and that you are ready to adopt one. I cannot see your mention on Scooploop. If you would be so kind to email me please

Bird feeders and bird boxes for Primary school
If anyone has any bird feeders or bird boxes they don't want, please could I have them for Eversley Primary school. The children enjoy feeding and helping and watching the birds - anything we can do to encourage a love and respect of wildlife in the young - is great ! Thanks in advance.

Dog poo sachets left on fox lane, conway way road three trunks (Edited)
I have noticed a number of trees being littered with dog poo sachets (full) on Conway road, fox lane junction and also on trees further up, and on the way down to green lanes. It looks like it is the same ignorant person doing this as the sachets of poo are mostly concentrated at top of the hill. Just wondering if the person that is littering the streets with his/her dog's poo, has any idea of who he expects to pick it up. Unbelievable ignorance of some people is beyond belief! Measures have been put in place to identify this piece of scum. Please report to the police if you witness this type of dirty, uneducated and antisocial behaviour.

In the shape of unfair parking or traffic tickets that escalate up to bailiffs stage as letters to parking authorities are ignored making it impossible to appeal.
Unbelievable but true to get a parking ticket though payment was made. Told to write in but letters were ignored. So sent emails and recorded delivery letters.
Having written to local councillor to report such disgusting practice he replied to complain to the parking services which gets nowhere.
Three on going tickets at present. For being alive and paying to park the demand is now £200 and the bailiffs will follow up if not paid.
They use their own terminology and rules to make it as complicated as possible so that people get penalised more easily.
No one to complain to about the council malpractice. Very upsetting and depressing.
What a waste of time as well.
Any of you suffered similar?
I could spend two hours writing about traffic warden and parking council department abuse. They get away with it so carry on. -
Suitable fosterers urgently needed
Due to so many cats let down by previous owners. Many cats are shy and take time trusting people. A few need less time to settle. Some would be happy with an outbuilding to shelter and good food.
Some rescues neuter the cats and put them back where found. This is rather sad as the cats are then not usually looked after. Recently picked up a lovely young adult put back by unknown rescue. She had lost half her fur and was very scared. After two weeks and a vet visit she has become friendly and her fur started to grow back. Gigi needs and deserves a very kind quiet home where she will be loved and spoiled.
Two older friendly ginger and white cats about ten years old have been abandoned sometimes last year and are fed by a lady in the street. They also need and deserve a kind suitable home with safe garden accessed by catflap.
Many others in need of permanent or forever suitable homes. -
Hi everyone. I'm hoping you can all help me. My family and I are looking to move house. Me, my husband and two children (both under 5) currently live in Southgate, it's a great area but house prices are too high for us. We are looking for an area with lots to do with children, easy access to London central (husband works near Bank station). Our budget is max £600k and would like a 3 bed house if possible. Any help from you lovely locals narrowing down suitable areas which have a homely and family oriented atmosphere would be great.

More irresponsible pet owners! (Edited)
So much anger in me right now after meeting the family who leave their cat behind after selling their expensive property. The new owners moved in at the same time and did not want the cat either. I was there to hear from the mouth of the owner how lovely the cat is except when it comes to going into the carrier. And also to hear they chose to leave him behind as they no longer want him. They had him 10 years. The new home owner did not want to keep him in the garage where he used to live overnight in case he jumped on their car. I could not help commenting and was not able to keep my mouth shut. As I was passing by on my way back from a homecheck in Essex I did not have a suitable carrier with me to collect the poor unwanted cat so said I would return tomorrow.
I am full so are all other rescues and this poor tabby cat needs and deserves a kind home ASAP. This cat deserves respect and a happy life. He spent most of it outside and in the garage as he was not allowed in the house.
In my anger I forget to take his picture.
No doubt I will be more angry tomorrow having to deal with stray cats at two different locations and obviously no space for them anywhere. Many would settle for a nice garage or shed.
I am looking for space for at least 40 stray and garden cats right now.
Many of my friendly cats have recently found five star homes but many others that had a bad start in life let down by their previous owners or born outside also deserve a good life. Few people are prepared to consider them and as far as I am concerned farms and stables are far from ideal for them.
Please remember pets are for life unless you are fostering. -
As I can see announcement of a message may be two new ones but cannot find them. I have to rush and give up searching. One is from Irene as I can only see the first six words. Will send email or text. I cannot see the other unread message. Sorry to sender

Homes urgently needed for rescued cats please
About 20 cats to be removed from a hoarder’s house need somewhere to live. Three are friendly aged 2, 5 and 12. The others are shy and nervous of people to various degrees. They are used to shelter in her derelict house and fed three good quality meals a day. Garden outbuildings would be suitable. A few were previously caught and put back after being neutered some were not and will be neutered and vet checked as soon as spaces are found for them. 20 were put to sleep as they were very ill. This appeal is urgent as the house is about to be partly demolished.

Waiting to be rehomed. Katarina is dreaming of a five star home with a loving family to move with preferably with one of her friends.

I thought I had seen it all...
But not so when I happened to see naked dating program on TV. I do not watch TV due to lack of time but have it on for the cats sometimes. I could not believe how the only interest of the participant looking for a date was what the contestants looked like without their clothes on. It started by showing full front of their legs and genitals then their chests then their bums and eventually their face. No interest in their personality or hobbies or lifestyle. Irrelevant but sexual preferences and what goes with it the only priority. I was shocked. Is that the essence of forever relationships? When I rehome cats I no longer allow people to chose them for their looks but do my best to match kitties and new owners to ensure forever happy relationships according to both their needs and personality. No wonder so few people understand and appreciate my efforts in doing so when humans get matched according to the way their bodies look naked and nothing else matters...
Rather sad as far as I am concerned. Do small or large breasts or small or large penis make you a better person and ensure a forever happy relationship?
My cats who were watching that program must have thought the contestants were animals as they are not in the habit of seeing naked bodies... -

To witness the way a gorgeous puppy apricot poodle or similar was treated while groomed at Pets@home grooming parlour this evening. The attendant was so rough and nasty to the poor puppy. She eventually saw me watch through the glass so calmed down but as she thought I had disappeared she starting again being abusive. I reported it at the till and the member of staff said that the attendant was not a permanent member of staff. She should be barred from working with pets altogether. If you have your dog groomed after what I saw today I would suggest you stay with your dog while it is happening.
This was so upsetting. I was very tempted to video her actions but she obviously would have seen me do so as she was looking around to check if anyone could see her. -
Hello everyone. We're starting to look at home improvements for the New Year and think we're going to have a bay window installed. Does anyone know someone who could do this for us, including the brick work and installation of the window? We're starting to look for quotes from a few different people at the moment. Thank you!

In desperate need of an emergency plumber - can anyone recommend someone to come at short notice? Thanks

Too many people do not allow their cats toys as they probably do not like to see them around the floor. Cats need to play and enjoy it as you can see below they are queuing up to play with that toy. All love Yeoww catnip bananas and Undercover Mouse with a spare feather wand and ping pong balls and most enjoy a long tunnel and a laser pointer with dot and a cardboard concave bed/Scratching mat, and more...
