    More irresponsible pet owners!

So much anger in me right now after meeting the family who leave their cat behind after selling their expensive property. The new owners moved in at the same time and did not want the cat either. I was there to hear from the mouth of the owner how lovely the cat is except when it comes to going into the carrier. And also to hear they chose to leave him behind as they no longer want him. They had him 10 years. The new home owner did not want to keep him in the garage where he used to live overnight in case he jumped on their car. I could not help commenting and was not able to keep my mouth shut. As I was passing by on my way back from a homecheck in Essex I did not have a suitable carrier with me to collect the poor unwanted cat so said I would return tomorrow.
I am full so are all other rescues and this poor tabby cat needs and deserves a kind home ASAP. This cat deserves respect and a happy life. He spent most of it outside and in the garage as he was not allowed in the house.
In my anger I forget to take his picture.
No doubt I will be more angry tomorrow having to deal with stray cats at two different locations and obviously no space for them anywhere. Many would settle for a nice garage or shed.
I am looking for space for at least 40 stray and garden cats right now.
Many of my friendly cats have recently found five star homes but many others that had a bad start in life let down by their previous owners or born outside also deserve a good life. Few people are prepared to consider them and as far as I am concerned farms and stables are far from ideal for them.
Please remember pets are for life unless you are fostering.
