Thursday 29th February 2024. 6.45 pm The Drill, on the roundabout at Brentwood Road / Slewins Lane, RM2 5TD A table has been booked at The Drill for 6.45. This is a little earlier than usual as I’m told that the kitchen is only open until 8pm. I hope this is okay with everyone. This restaurant does not only serve fish and chips, but steak, chicken, ribs, burgers, sausages and pies too. From Romford, Buses 174, 498 and 496 all stop just before Gallows Corner. It is the Upper Brentwood Road Stop (GN) for all three buses. Upper Brentwood Road is almost opposite the bus stop, so walk back towards Romford and cross at the lights. Who would like to go? -
