Yet another query about VAT - just a quickie
Just had a quote for taking out kitchen sink and changing quartz worktop (which has given me much misery over the past couple of years) to melamine for £1,800 ish plus VAT. Does VAT apply to everything, i.e. is there VAT on the labour charge as well as on the materials used, please. (I was asked if I would be buying the worktop and sink myself).
