    Reminiscing - 1975

    1975 - DISCO!! The Bee Gees revived their career with Jive Talkin'. The Bay City Rollers arrived on the scene. Biggest UK hit was Bohemian Rhapsody followed by the Rollers' version of The Four Seasons' Bye bye baby.

    Other hits that year:

    - Sailing by Rod Stewart
    - I'm not in love by 10cc
    - January by Pilot
    - Barbados by Typically Tropical

    .....and Can't give you anything but my love by The Stylistics. [They don't make 'em like that anymore!]

    Films in 1975 included Jaws, Rollerball, One flew over the cuckoo's nest and Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

    Also in that year:

    - Brian Clough became manager of a struggling Nottm Forest - who would have guessed how that would turn out!
    - Charlie Chaplin was knighted
    - Snow fell during cricket matches on 2nd June
