    Reminiscing - 1974

    There was no particular musical theme in 1974 but it had its share of memorable hits such as:

    - Tiger feet by Mud
    - Waterloo introducing us to ABBA via Eurovision song contest
    - Seasons in the sun by Terry Jacks
    - Sugar baby love by The Rubettes

    ..and Rock your baby by George McCrae (his outfit is so mid-1970s)

    Films included Chinatown, Blazing saddles, Towering Inferno and Young Frankenstein

    Other events that year:

    - General election lost by Edward Heath letting in Harold Wilson's Labour Party again.
    - Lada cars were sold in the UK for the first time - remember them?
    - Manchester Utd were relegated from the First Division (but bounced straight back next year)
    - Court Line collapsed (I remember seeing their palnes grounded at Luton Airport).
