    Reminiscing - 1972

    1972 was the year I got married and we bought our first house - virtually derilict and cost £7600. We survived with things like an old sofa, gas fire, table and chairs etc being donated by relatives. Good year for music - hits included:

    - Telegram Sam and Metal Guru by T Rex
    - Puppy Love by Donny Osmond
    - Amazing Grace by the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (remember that..)
    - Without you by Harry Nilsson

    And of course this Coca Cola advert from the New Seekers.

    A BEA flight crashed near Staines that year. Derby County were League champions under Brian Clough. London debut of Jesus Christ Superstar.
