Recognition of Palestine
Leaving aside whether or not you are in favour of recognising the Palestinian State, there is an aspect that has not, so far as I am aware, been mentioned. At present, Palestinians occupy Gaza and the West Bank. The elected controllers of Gaza are Hamas. The West Bank is under the administrative control of The Palestinian Authority. So if Palestine is recognised as a nation who would we recognise as being its leader?
