Potatoes
I've always understood that potatoes should be kept in a cool dark place, but not in the fridge. I only buy the small bags of baby/salad potatoes and always put them in a brown paper bag in the cupboard. Latest bag from the Co-op states ' Store in the fridge at 2-5c. to keep fresh for weeks longer'. I'm confused.
