This beautiful Indian remake of the 1994 film
Forrest Gump is in Hindi but has good subtitles and is well worth a watch.
Apparently many years in the making, rewriting, held back due to the pandemic it was released in August in cinemas and seen as a flop!
Maybe it was financially but that’s certainly not my opinion of this touching, lovingly told, stunning film. Using over a hundred Indian backdrops and locations.
I loved Aamir Khan as Lal and Kareena Kapoo as Rupar and the actors who played them as children. It was educational, sad, funny and in places almost magical. This is one I will be watching again and again ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
