If you like food oriented travelogue
The mixed race actress takes the viewer on a culinary tour of a different Mexican state each episode. Exploriing the foods and meals the locals really eat.
Over the 6 episodes there was just one section on how Tequila is made, and one mention of Tacos, in a town where they have Taco Tuesday. Apart from those items well known to us, there was no mention of Chilli con carne, enchiladas, fajitas or tortillas. It was all dishes that we never see in our Mexican restaurants.
