    How much should you tip?

Just been reading an article in The Guardian about this. The journalist writing about the dilemma of deciding who to tip and how much?
Near the end of the article she says she settled on 20% for everyone apart from 25% for restaurants.
I think 10% of the bill, rounded down to the nearest £1 is enough if the worker is just doing their job.
For people like hotel housekeeping, I leave a £10 in the room on the check-out day.
Taxi drivers, round up to the £.
