Free, fun, and friendly weekly 2k event for juniors (4 to 14 year olds).
Adults can accompany their children, but the course is marshalled and signed, so isn't strictly necessary.

Children can walk, jog or run the event.
It's a run rather than a race, so can be taken as seriously as you want.
