A new contract with VirginMedia at a lower monthly price for the 2nd renewal in a row.
About 18 months ago my monthly bill had crept up to £145 for everything. So I phoned them to say, "I don't really want to leave but I need to pay less. Maybe take off the Sky Cinema channels". Instead the man said "we can do you a new 18 month deal. All that you have now, upgrade to fastest broadband, upgrade the Hub, Netflix included, all for £116 a month". So I said yes.
This week I had an email from VM. Special offer to renew my contract for only £99 a month. Even says not to worry about the notified April 2024 price increase. My £99 a month is locked in until April 2025.
