Food bank donations - massive thank you

On behalf of Commonside we would like to say a big thank you to those of you who came to one of our drop-off points over the last 10 days and to those Roads who organised their own collection, those of you who are helping to publicise our drop offs, and for offers of help at the centre. Sorry we can’t name you all individually, but we are most grateful for your kind donations and help.
We have been at Manville Road, Café di Niro on Furzedown, Costas on Tooting Bec Road and All Saints Church and Brudenell. Montana, Manville and Drakefield Roads have kindly organised their own road collections. Louisville and Corse Hill Roads will be doing the same.
Our stocks for the food bank appear good, but as you all know, if stocks are not replenished weekly they will run out quickly.
The good news is we have been able to keep the lunch club for the elderly going with one cooked meal being delivered to them on week days. We have been able to give food bags out to those families in greatest need, many with young children. So THANK YOU.
Sadly, we have also noticed that more people, due to changed circumstances, need our help, so we will continue with our efforts and with your help we will be able to aid those less fortunate.
We have arranged the following drop-offs:
Wednesday 13, May, 12noon – 2.00pm @ Costas’ café on Tooting Bec Road
Saturday, 16, May, 12 noon – 2.00pm @ All Saints Church, Tower entrance on Brudenell Road.

YOU AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT!
