    Dentist

Received this today. I've been with the same dentist for over 30 years, from NHS to Denplan and currently pay about £40 pm. I have to say I think this is shocking. Cut and pasted.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind all patients of our practice policy regarding treatment deposits.

A £50 deposit is required at the time of booking any treatment appointment. This policy has been in place at the practice for many years and applies to all patients, regardless of how long you have been registered with us.

For more extensive or longer appointments, a higher deposit may be requested at the clinician’s discretion. This will be discussed with you at the time of booking.

Please note that if a treatment appointment is cancelled within 48 hours, the deposit may be forfeited at the discretion of the practice. In such cases, a new deposit will be required in order to secure a further treatment appointment.

This policy allows us to manage our clinical diary effectively and ensure appointment availability for all patients who require care.

We thank you for your understanding and continued support.
