• Common Sense Heritage Project Volunteers Needed

The ‘Common Sense’ project will provide a range of activities and support for local adult residents living with special needs, including autism, visual impairment and hearing loss.
Volunteers will assist with the planning, research and delivery of tours around
Merton Heritage Centre. They will also create resources enabling people living with special needs to engage with Merton’s history in a fun and non-threatening environment.

We are looking for volunteers who can assist us for a minimum of 3 hours per week until March 2020. Full training will be provided and volunteers will develop skills in research,
the creation of educational resources and the delivery of heritage workshops.

If you are interested in volunteering on this exciting and worthwhile project, please contact Dorian Knight, Project Officer.
    Email: dorian.knight@merton.gov.uk or Tel. 0208 545 4038.
