Isn't it about time that Trump stopped threatening the protesters and instead promised the population safety in any interactions with the police.
Many black people (and undoubtedly other colours too) have been assaulted to the point of death, when they should instead be guaranteed justice. People who interact with the police should not fear death as a result. We have seen the woman with her dog in Central Park who attempted to use the police as a weapon against someone who justifiably asked her to put a lead on her dog.
Why should anybody asking someone to comply with local laws be intimidated and feel that their life has been threatened?
America needs to come to terms with the fact that there are people of all colours and race and live with them, not against them.
If Trump attempted to let the populace know that every life, (not just black and not just white, but every life) matters and that anybody interacting with the police will have the full protection of the law, there would be no need to threaten to bring in the army. Nobody should fear for their life when interacting with the police, fear for their liberty yes, their life, no.
