    Amelia Earhart - Mystery Solved

A recent TV program revealed with almost certainty how Amelia Earhart died.
It was conducted by an investigation team using the latest evidence.

Amelia Earhart was born in 1897 and was 39 years old when she disappeared in 1937.
She was a world renown female aviator and held many records, including being the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean.

In 1937 Amelia and her navigator Fred Noonan took off from Miami on a round-the world flight.
The last contact with Amelia was on her route to Howland Island in the Pacific Ocean. After which she completely disappeared. The mystery of her death has existed until recently.

It is concluded that Amelia and her navigator lost their way and crash landed on a small Japanese held island and were taken prisoner. They were transferred to Saipan by the Japanese and held for several years, after which they were finally executed most likely by beheading and buried in shallow graves.

The web is full of information on this subject, but here is one link -
