8 to 12 letter words beginning and ending with H quiz
Following on from the last words quizI have identified 21 words 8 to 12 letters long that begin and end with an “h” and which might be reasonably likely to arise in ordinary conversation/discussion or in fiction or non-fiction books etc. I fancy this may be a bit more dificult but do have a go. Your challenge is to name as many of the 21 words as you can for one point each. I am aware that there are a number of valid words and you can list as many as you like - but only ones in my list of 21 of the commonest will count. Proper nouns/words that begin with a capital letter and hyphenated words or words containing apostrophes or slang words are not allowed. Foreign words will count provided they are in common use in English language. I have indicated below how many there are in my list under each word length. It would be a great help to me in checking entries if you can list your words in alphabetical order. No use of reference material or the internet of course to ensure fair play. Good luck.
