Iams Light Dry Cat food for Sterilised/Overweight cats £25
My 2 cats have been put on a Veterinary Diet cat food (expensive -Royal Canin Satiety) after their annual health checks found them to be a bit portly and so I have got some Iams Light for Sterilised/overweight cats left over which I'd like to sell. There are 2 full bags unopened and the 3rd is almost 2/3 full. These bags cost me £15 each (2.55kg) but I'd be happy to take £25 for the lot. Collection from Amen Corner

If you have an open fire, a wood-burning stove or a gas fire it's a good time to start thinking about getting it swept ready for winter.
I am a professional, reliable and friendly local Chimney Sweep, I use clean dustsheets and a high-efficiency vacuum to ensure that sweeping is mess and dust-free. I recommend that chimneys are swept annually, or twice a year if you are using them often. Woodstoves, multifuel stoves and gas fires need sweeping annually. See www.tootsweep.com for my contact details. Regards, Ian at TootSweep. -
Bread maker recommendation required

Hi everyone,
We’re finding small black bits and sediment coming out of our kitchen tap since this morning. Had anyone else had the same problem? Our bathroom sink seems to be fine! -
Just wanted to report that I have just had a call on my landline purporting to be from my ISP provider. The recorded message claimed that my router had been compromised and they wanted to give me a new ISP address -- all of which is total b----ks! How do I know this is a scam? Well, my ISP provider always communicate with me by e-mail and certainly wouldn't use a recorded voice message. Incidentally it was a woman's voice -- I suppose less threatening than a man. Anyway, I advise anyone who gets a call like this to just hang up.

Hi. Some long time ago there was a recommendation here (for a shop in Kingston I think) that did repairs on leather. I have a very old and battered bag which isn’t worth anything but is much loved and I am hoping I can find the link/recommendation (or a new one) to get it repaired. I am trying to declutter to get rid of things not used and repair things I love to keep and use! Any thoughts? Thank you.

I got a leaflet for this website, just signed up so hello neighbours!!
Just wondering yesterday afternoon actually if many people shop locally anymore. It's such a shame that even the big boys can't hack it on the high street. It is so much easier to get everything at the supermarket than go to individual little shops to get different things. I've decided from now on to try and buy at least one item a week from a local shop. Do you use local shops and why? -

Drinking alcohol on Tooting Streets
I received this response from Adama Fregiste
Community Safety Officer (Tooting Sector)
""Thank you for contacting the Community Safety Division. I do remember you contacting us back in December 2016 when we were conducting a public consultation for the Public Spaces Protection Order (PSPO).
After the consultation, it was decided that the existing Designated Public Place Order (DPPO) should be converted into a PSPO focusing solely on anti-social street drinking. The PSPO covers Tooting Town centre and parts of the Graveney ward including your road (Himley Road). It gives the police the power to confiscate alcohol from anyone who is drinking and causing anti-social behaviour. If they refuse to surrender their alcohol then they can be fined or arrested. The Tooting local police team do regular patrols in the area and enforce the PSPO as often as they can. During a one week operation in June, the police confiscated and disposed of 100 sealed and unsealed containers of alcohol from the street drinkers. The police will continue to do these type of operations during the summer.
I hope this information gives you some reassurance, we are working in partnership to make Tooting a safer place. Please remember to report all incidents on anti-social behaviour to the police by calling 101. ""
so -you also have a Tooting Community Safety contact and, know, if you have drunks on your street in this area they should be dealt with -

After travelling from Fulham to Wimbledon on the tube today, I was disgusted by the amount of spray pain by these so called graffitti artists!!, it is NOT art, it is just defacing public or private property, and I am surprised there is not more done to stop these brainless prats from doing this!!.
