Today, a different kind of challenge. You live in Maidstone and you are cycling to Carlisle in Cumbria for charity (very admirable of you all I must say ). Your task is to get there through the smallest number of counties. So, you have to list in order the counties you intend to pass through on your way. Each county must, of course, be adjacent to the previous one (i.e. you can pass from one to the other riding your bike or taking it on a ferry for example).
Points scored will be for every county you identify until you name one that is not adjacent to the previous one. If you get to Carlisle successfully your score will then depend on how many counties you passed through in getting there. The fewer you took the higher your score would be.
I hope that is clear and that you enjoy the challenge. No use of reference material or the internet of course to ensure fair play. Good luck.

Today a simple ‘True or False’ quiz concerning facts about Germany. Have a best guess if you don’t know – just put True or False against the fact. No use of reference material or the internet of course to ensure fair play. Good luck.
REMEMBER - NO POSTS instead you PM me with your guesses any time up to midnight tonight. If possible, please wait until you've completed all the guesses you want to make to avoid too many PMs and to make my job easier. So no hurry and it doesn't matter when you submit the answers because I'll be judging them solely on who has the most correct - and in the event of two or more being level it will be a tie. Feel free to change your mind on an answer you may have already given. I hope this is clear and good luck. Tomorrow I’ll post the names of the top entries.

As you all know, I've been posting 'top' entries from PM quizzes. It's not easy judging which entries to include or to omit in the interests of not deterring people from entering lots of guesses or of sparing their blushes.
So, can I ask each of you to PM me to say whether you would be happy for me to post all your entries or would prefer me to omit low scoring ones at my discretion as at present. I'm not looking to find a majority view - I would apply your preference to you individually. Many thanks. -
Song antonyms quiz (Edited)
Today’s quiz features another bag of big UK hit record song titles (1950s to present day) where I have used antonyms to give the opposite meaning. You simply have to identify the song title! And it has the be the one I’m thinking of. Some easy but some more difficult. No internet use of course to ensure fair play and good luck.
