SELSEY it’s not much fun having to double up on birthday and Christmas presents is it, especially when you’re a youngster.😖 But then you reach the age when presents don’t really matter and you’re just glad to be up and about and walking Sadie.😊 Anyway thinking of you today. Enjoy yourself. 🥳🍷🍰🍾

Just dropped on my doorstep in pouring rain. My fav sweets from daughter as can’t see her tomorrow, AND top notch Waitrose chocs from my ex osteopath boss. Now where to begin, especially as I’ve just lost weight.

This morning I got a face too face appointment with my doctor. It was so nice to sit in a waiting room like in the “olden” days and actually have a conversation, and be able to sneak a couple more questions in too as he was in a good mood. Just a mother and child before me, and one other lady. Now hoping the prescription he gave me is finally correct for my ongoing eye problem.

Boris’ hair ..., has he been up at night helping feed the baby?? Surely he can afford a barber to go to No. 10 and give him regular haircuts like other leaders would do. Then I tried to imagine his hair cut in the same style as Sir Keir Starmer’s.😁😆

....and sorry to follow up with my cheerful jive before. but just read the “good” news, Arthur’s evil stepmother has been confined to solitary due to other inmates treatment. So 29 years, maybe more, is an eternity. Haven’t heard about the father who deserves the same. Since this awful case 4 more babies/toddlers have been killed by parents.

Dear little Arthur for what you suffered, no one to hold you, love you, and watch over you in your final moments. Numerous failings by police and social service, made worse by lockdown. This story has effected me so badly these past weeks, I would go to bed thinking of what he went through. Today that evil woman wouldn’t even come up to face her sentence. as I’ve mentioned before how do monsters get away with that. 29 years but more than likely life means life in this case. His evil father 21 years. No remorse from either of them. He would have been better off with his drunken mother who wrote a heartwarming memory of him, that beautiful smile, read by his grandmother who was fobbed off by the authorities, A harrowing case for a juror, even reporters had to walk out listening to audios. They will face hell in prison now, and she already has. Let her see what it’s like.... So many children go through pain, his was daily...thousands over lockdown, plus mother’s being abused. Arthur you have broken my heart. I won’t forget you. ❤️

My daughter was selling a mobile PHONE for her father in law at quite a high price, but good deal nevertheless. A man came to look at it, invited inside their house with the children there, and said he didn’t have enough cash would go to the bank and return, she thought okay as she had the phone, but no, in the meantime whilst they weren’t looking he had exchanged phones and left a broken one. She feels sick and even responsible, and is on phone now to police who of course won’t do anything. Also blaming her husband for not recharging the doorbell camera. She has a feeling where this man comes from too. Well her hubby had his bike stolen...it seems to me that when it comes to bikes and phones it’s a minefield out there. Her father in law will understand but at the same time she just feels so upset that someone could do this in her home whilst seeing 3 young children playing there.

Also remember that some of the microchip companies don’t liaise with each other so your dog or cat could be missed when scanning and not getting reunited with their owners.

1,000 illegal immigrants arrived today, well 90% economic migrants let’s face it. We have nigh on 25,000 illegals expected this year. Not only is it costing a fortune, especially in these Covid days, and not only do we not have enough housing ourselves, even some RNLI volunteers are starting to get annoyed. Some of these young men are told by the smugglers just call 999 and you will be looked after. Already recent two drownings. How many are sent back??? None at this stage as they will throw away their papers and passports. The French say we make it easy with our handouts. Well we e handed out enough to them that’s for sure and they seem to find our fishing boats ok!! This has been discussed before. Hotels and a weekly £39.63ish.

One for Boots in particular when you mentioned Bradley Walsh recently being all over the TV, “all day long”!! plus with his son. ....and Rylan was just on “We’ve got news for You”. See Gino D’Acampo was introducing his children on telly last night on a free trip to Italy series.

The madman that murdered those two sisters Bibaa and Nicole was allowed to sit with his back to the judge today, feet up on chair. The total disrespect. Like the killer of Millie Dowler and other young women, who never came up from his cell to hear his sentence, also the hook handed terrorist, and many others. Sorry but they should be dragged up and made to hear their fate and also face the family members and hear whatever they might want to say to these monsters.

Did anyone watch this show on Mon night, or now on BBC iPlayer? The pollution that this company has created since turning to plastic is really depressing, and not just in Coca Cola bottles but other soft drinks they churn out. Even more sad when you see the poorest families in Uganda collecting and returning to recycle for about 4p a day - if that, and very young children not able to go to school.

Young babies/children (mainly girls of course) are being sold in Afghanistan (by men/fathers of course) to make ends meet as so many people are starving. God help them where they end up. However it may help if the men didn’t keep making their poor wives pregnant . What a world we live in.

What a pair, like the Everly Brothers. On iplayer now 2 older programmes “The Harmony Game” with them discussing their hits, and also “Concert in Central Park ”. Now both 80!! I introduced their music to one of the young girls I childminded - Alex - and when she went to Uni she took the hits CD I bought her as a present. She then ended up introducing her flat mates to their sound and they went out buying CDs/records for themselves. She also got into Paul Simon solos and had a discreet tattoo of “You can call me Al”. We’re still in touch, she’s now a mum herself. 🥰

Fabulous programme just on BBC 1 with comedian Josh Widdicombe’s ancestry ... unbelievable . I won’t give it away to anyone who hasn’t watched as of yet but if you love history it’s fascinating.

..and I just heard these figures. In Germany there are 5 doctors for every 1,000 people In Netherlands there are 4 doctors for every 1,000 people In France there are 3 doctors for every 1,000 people ... but in the UK there is 1 doctor for every 2,000 of us lot!! The number of people who have not been properly diagnosed with Altzheimers is because of not getting face to face appointments. ..and still these doctors take home a very good wage. My doctor is a one man band, I have to constantly follow up on things he should be doing. He drives a very flashy sports car when he does come into the surgery, and even built a marquee cover for it in extreme weathers, bless. ☺️

Another year has passed of excellent quizzes James keeping the “little grey cells” active, although excuse my absence for a while. We are not expecting any action on here today, so just have a good one. 😘
