What to do with oats left over from making oat milk.
I've been experimenting with making my own oat milk - It's a lot simpler than I thought. Put rolled oats and water in a liquidiser with a pinch of salt and a bit of sweetener, blend on high speed for about 45 seconds and strain the resulting mixture.
It works well and ends up much cheaper than buying it in the shops.
At the end of the process I end up with a dollop of very finely chopped oatmeal. It will have lost some of the nutrients into the oat milk but I'm thinking that there must still be quite a bit of nutritional value in it so I'm wondering if there's a recipe out there which it can be used for.
Do any of you have any suggestions?
