    Rhubarb gin recipe!

    Found this rhubarb gin recipe and thought I'd share in case there are any other gin lovers around! It's ready in 3 days.

    You will need:

    500ml gin
    Jar
    coffee filters
    300g rhubarb (about 3 stalks)
    4 slices fresh ginger (skin cut off)
    3 tablespoons sugar

    Method

    Step 1:
    Wash your jar and sterilise it with boiling water. Wash and chop the rhubarb into 1cm chunks and place it in the jar. Add the sugar and ginger. Pour in the gin, close the jar and give it a good shake.

    Step 2:
    Leave for 3 days. Shake a couple of times a day.

    Step 3:
    Filter through the coffee filter to get a clear gin. If you can, leave it to filter overnight to get as much gin as possible.

    Step 4:
    Pour into a glass bottle so you can admire its pink colour. Serve and enjoy.

    Think I'll be making a batch when rhubarb's in season!
