    Speakers:

Susan Muncey from Shop Curious Sustainable Style on a Shoestring

As she prepares to launch a new retail venture, Susan has offered to share some of the tips of her trade – what to look for and where to source vintage and second hand clothing, furniture and gifts.

An early proponent of sustainable style, fashion historian, writer, trend forecaster and collector, Susan Muncey, has had a long and fascinating relationship with vintage and second hand clothes – soon to be revealed in a forthcoming book.

In the mid 1990s, she swapped her City career for a slower lifestyle, setting up a unique concept store - Fashion Gallery - selling vintage and contemporary fashion, furniture, art and accessories. Then, in 2008, she launched an online curiosity shop, ShopCurious, offering handmade and designer vintage fashion, unique accessories, unusual gifts, handcrafted and eco-friendly things for the home.

Susan will share some of the secrets of how she shops on a shoestring, and will also provide a small selection of curated charity pieces for sale, along with personal styling tips and expert advice.
