Recommendation for any custom leather work.
I'm not sure if this is the right group to post this, but I think that good service should be publicised.
A few years ago I posted a message asking where I could get a custom belt case made for my mobile phones.
I need to carry two phones (work and personal) and I couldn't find a suitable ready made case.
Someone suggested Crispin Bending who made me a case which I used for several years.
Then the zip died, and as my work phone had been replaced by one a bit bigger it was a tight squeeze to fit it into the old case.
So I wanted a new custom case slightly bigger than the old one.
I tried to contact Crispin but he was temporarily closed while he moved workshops.
His website gave a link to Henry Tomkins Leather, so I contacted Henry.
He made me an excellent custom leather belt case with space for two phones plus a small zipped pocket inside to carry a few odds and ends.
He did a very good job and I'm very pleased with the result.
He also repaired the zip on the old case.
He completed the work quickly and his prices are very reasonable.
I would recommend him for any custom leather work you may need.
