Putin's War
Putin is fighting a war of attrition.
The original frontal assault didn't work, because he gave Ukraine months of warning signs by moving troops into position, and testing the West's opposition to another "walk-in walkover".
Now he hasn't got enough manpower or weapon supply to finish the job.
Witness his nightly blitz isn't softening up Kiev, and its citizens.
Rather the opposite.
Solution.
Support Ukraine with every shell/missile/drone/plane the West can pour in.
Do it quicker than he can ship in arms.
The sources are known, cut them off wherever possible.
Get the Saudis and their money onside too.
Donald and his cronies will want to be in the huge re-building programmes in the years ahead.
Wars are mainly won by logistics.
But turn up the media volume too, and make sure the Russian people and army know Putin is an aging dictator whose days are numbered.
Putin cannot trust his generals, and they are already discussing who to replace him with, and when.
