Life, and life with long Covid.

“Life is never made unbearable by circumstances, only by lack of meaning and purpose.”

This observation by the psychiatrist and Holocaust survivor Viktor Frankl is echoed by fascinating new research into the experiences of long COVID sufferers.

While the physical symptoms are often excruciating and debilitating, what really struck the researchers is the profound and sometimes inexplicable anguish that many of the interviewees described, as long COVID forced them to question their purpose in life – and even their very existence.
