HMRC Scam Beware.
Today I have received an email purporting to have come from HMRC telling me that I am due a refund of tax of £5,700+ and providing a link to my CREDIT CARD which would allow the refund to be made. Looks convincing but why the credit card ?, surely the bank account would be more appropriate.
IT'S A SCAM, the day that I overpay £5,700 in tax hasn't dawned yet and the end of the world will happen before I do.
