Today is the final day in Putin's "election" which he will win - as he has "won" consistently for the past 30 years.
At noon there will be a surge of voting. This has been publicised so that voters can see just how many of them want him out.
They cannot be arrested - they might be voting for Putin - but they can look around them and see their strength in numbers.
