    Going Cuckoo?

    Source RSPB

    "Cuckoos getting restless?

Can you guess where our satellite-tagged Cuckoos are? They will soon be leaving their wintering grounds in the Congo Basin. Their journeys back to the UK can start anytime from early January to early March and the first leg typically takes them up to a few hundred km north within the rainforest. Over the last few days Llangollen Cuckoo JAC has flown 200km north in the Republic of the Congo, and Norfolk Cuckoo Joe has flown 275km west, from Democratic Republic of the Congo to the Republic of the Congo. Scottish Cuckoo Victor II has been moving around within Gabon, close to Worcestershire Cuckoo Ripple. Take a look at the latest positions of our tagged Cuckoos."
