To understand the advice one must first accept the premise that to have good services and welfare one must first have a sound robust economy to fund it.
In the City and over the World are the best best financial brains who control a large part of the worlds money and they are the Investment Fund Managers and they speak to us on a daily basis.
In the simplest terms fund managers operate on the principal of maximising growth while minimising risk, therefore they study the political parties policies and evaluate their financial viability and on that assessment they act to protect the money of their investors, in the case of pension funds, US. In essence they work on the simple basis that when the forward indicators are good, go for growth with the increase of risk, and when the outlook is weak it is safety at the expense of growth, and they MOVE money accordingly.
This activity is published in every daily newspaper for all to see, all you have to do is learn the language and read it, and that is what I mean when I advocate "following the money", and not being fooled by the lying politicians.
