    Earth Shattering News Perhaps.

Scientists in the US. have successfully achieved nuclear fusion that produces 50% more energy than the amount used in the process, while at the same time does not produce the toxic waste that results from nuclear fission.
I'm no nuclear physicist but thoughts that occur to me are:-
    1) Can they develop this technology quickly enough to solve the global energy problem?.
    2) Can the process be used to change Co2 atoms into something that is not a greenhouse gas, thus "clean up" our atmosphere?.
    3) Will they share this technology with rest of the world?.
    4) Can 1) to 3) be done it time to save the Planet or have we, as I believe, already passed the point of no return. Let us hope that I am wrong.

    What are your thoughts?.
