    I don't understand cryptocurrency. Traditional money is backed up according to gold reserves. How are cryptocurrencies / bitcoins covered. What does it look like?
    Just read the story 'Sotheby's has said it will accept cryptocurrency as payment for a rare diamond which is expected to fetch more than £10m'.
    Please can anyone explain in simple English?
