Covid Death number inc care home up by 4419 today
Quite shocking as it brings our death rate up to 26 097 higher than Spain and France and only a thousand or so off Italy. So 3rd highest country death wise. Why better practices in care homes weren’t better put in place early on I don’t know. Considering the elderly in the community were ordered to stay indoors for 12 weeks to protect them but the people in the care home by the looks of it a-lot were just left to get ill & die in the homes.
Although the USA with 60 000 deaths & over 1 million infected says quite a lot I think about how slack they have been in dealing with it.
