    Air Fryers Part II.

Now I know that the Ladies and experienced cooks will laugh at this, but those like myself without that expertise might find it helpful.
Struggling with more "complicated meals I suddenly realised that the cooking process was almost identical to the methods I used when batch processing colour film, namely it depended entirely on time and temperature so I decided to employ the same principles.
Firstly I listed all the components, Joint, potatoes sprouts etc. together with their times and temperatures ( culled from the packaging) and then did what mathematians would call a critical path analysis by listing each component in chronological order working back from the time that I wanted to serve the meal, thus I then know when I have got to start each stage of the cooking. So joint with chopped onions in a roasting bag in one drawer, roast potatoes in the other, carrots in a pan on the stove to boil and add the sprouts 7 minutes before they are ready, gravy, mustard prepared ready, warming if required and apple strudel in the oven to cook while we are eating the meal.
What has the air fryer to do with all this?, well beside cooking more quickly using less energy and oil it is programmable and it's clock shows the countdown to the completion time so all I have to do is carry out the planned tasks at the appropriate time.
The results have been sucessful roast lunches which I am sure will get even better as I become more experienced.
