A Tip That Might Help Some.
As more of the household tasks are falling upon me and I am "learning on the job",
coping with the washing machine is one of them.
This week I found, by chance that the machine was sticking on 11 minutes from the end of a wash/dry programme. It had been on all day. My first reaction was to assume that the electronics had failed and to send for an engineer.
Fortunately I remembered the advice that I had given to so many budding photographers over the years, and I read the handbook and I found that with the Drying programme this fault can occur and that the solution is to run the Drum Clean programme on cold which I did and the problem was resolved.
I am reporting this as it illustrates how easy it is to rush into precipitous action, I saved an expensive callout fee with 5 minutes reading.
So remember, When all else fails, read the manual.
