Power of Attorney
At ELP Arbuthnott McClanachan we believe that everyone should have a Power of Attorney.
A Power of Attorney is a document that appoints one or more trusted individuals to act on your behalf. It is possible to grant a Power of Attorney in relation to financial matters only, or in relation to issues affecting your welfare, or to grant a joint financial and welfare Power of Attorney.
Having a Power of Attorney in place means that if something happens to you that means you need help, you have already given a trusted person that authorisation.
