The re-opening of businesses in North London
It’s lovely to see businesses in North London dusting off the cobwebs and putting up bunting today in preparation for reopening on Monday!
I bumped in to many business owners like the Friendly Manager of Ye Olde Monken Holt Gerry and cheerful Barmaid Carmel Keane, who spoke to me about the preparations they are putting in place to ensure the safety of their customers on Monday. I was impressed by all of the health & safety measures they mentioned, some of which included offering take-away only, social distancing, PPE, a one way system and all of the other safety guidelines needed for a safe and successful reopening!
I look forward to supporting businesses like Ye Olde Monk Holte, and staff like Gerry and Carmen, on my Local High Street on Monday, as many like them wait with bated breath to see if anyone comes through their doors once they open next week.
